Modern Western views the world through a five-sensory prism. Surrounded by people and institutions that lack openness and understanding, rich in cynicism, spiritual disconnection, fact-based conditioning, and unwilling to consider the very existence of phenomenon attributable to events outside the physical world, is it any wonder to find our intuitive selves denied, doubted, suppressed or discarded. For many in the modern, technological world, our intuitive selves communication channels have dried up and become sealed over. Those messages that do get through tend to go unheard or be totally ignored.
